About
Why Cambodia.
Cambodia operates one of the few citizenship-by-investment programs in Asia, grounded in Article 9 of the 1996 Law on Nationality. The modernised Khmer Nationality Investment Programme has been actively processing applications since 2020.
The minimum contribution is $245,000 to the Royal Government for a single applicant, or $305,000 via direct business investment in a registered Cambodian enterprise. Family additions (spouse and dependent children) incur incremental fees.
The Cambodian passport ranks 86th globally with 47 visa-free destinations, mostly within ASEAN. What you're buying is regional access to Southeast Asia at a comparatively low entry threshold, not worldwide travel.
A single visit to Cambodia is required for biometrics and a basic Khmer language test. Cambodia permits dual citizenship, so your existing passport is retained.
